Good video bruh always good to pass black music history on & not even just rap; all of it because a lot of people been tryna steal our history. Da youngstas was nice. They didn't have a lot of music but I liked they production & them dudes was probably the first kids who had real lyrics & them lil dudes were rough (unique for they time) I remember around 94 going into 95 when Nas/biggie& them Wu Tangers came out the whole east coast sound went into some dark criminal- underground phase (lol) a lot of lyricist who weren't into negative lyrics like Eric Sermon started to get pushed to background; that hurt a lot of rappers on the east coast.

I think I may have been a broke little dude at the time hadn't really started buying records yet. It’s crazy cause my last time with HTH was one of the best. Boob, Jojo, Cool, Marbles, my big bro and another dude we hung with was at GoGo night at faces on Lancaster Ave and Jo smacked this dancer on the ass hard as hell and she turned around and plucked me in the eye. I was always more of a fan of Da Youngsta's than i was of Kriss Kross but it was unfortunate that they never had that one track that took the mainstream by storm and put them on the map. I remember hearing a bunch of Kriss Kross songs as soon as they came out in the spring but didn't hear about Da Youngsta's until the early fall of that year and that was because Kriss Kross had songs that were hits. Da Youngsta's were dope but being a mini version of Naughty by Nature/Onyx didn't help. This is a nice documentury of the group.
