Freddy Guarin was a player I used to sign all the time. I found him by chance managing Bristol Rovers, I got them into the Premiership and I needed a defensive midfielder, he wasn't getting games for AC Milan so I brought. I'm glad I did he was a work horse and a dead specialist. Lukas Hradecky was usually a good goalie to sign and I liked Hao Junmin, he was a good winger, who could score a few freekicks and long shots

haha I am from Bulgaria and at some point he was more popular outside of the country than here. So popular that before a qualification game against Sweden a Swedish journalist asked our national coach if Todorov was called up. The manager was like 'yeah, we have called Svetoslav Todorov' (playing for Portsmouth back then) and the journalist replied 'No, not Svetoslav, but Anatoli Todorov?', needless to say that most of the people in the room were shocked and didn't know how to respond.

Nicolas Millan on FM2007 (maybe 2008). He was a king on my Argentine league game with Nueva Chicago. Also used to always sign Morten Gamst Pedersen when he was still in Norway before he went to Blackburn. He was a star on the early CM games.

Fabio Paim was actually accused of rape during his time in Lithuania. There was even a police investigation launched, so it was a serious accusation, not the "he looked at me the wrong way" kind. After this happened, he left the club and the country. He had decent technique (for a 2nd division club in Lithuania), but you could really see that he wasn't very interested in playing the game.
