What happened to Giovani dos Santos - where did it all go wrong for Giovani Dos Santos. Is it a case of a prodigy unfulfilled, or that the initial hope for a Barcelona starlet was merely a triumph of hype over reasonable expectation?
How did this player, who already was in Barcelona's famed academy, when he won the Silver Ball at the U-17 World Championship in Peru by helping Mexico to the title and For a player who was named by World Soccer Magazine as one of the “Top 50 Most Exciting Teen Footballers”, not break through?

He didn't have to work as hard as other players in Mexico, his dad was a former pro, he didn't have that grit and "hungrr" that other poor Mexican players had

The reason he went down is he enjoyed himself to much he went to so many parties and was even recorded when he was drunk and he was only cared about the money like imagine if he stayed at Barcelona for like another 4 years or 5 he will have won a ball dor and could of become one of the greats to play the sport because of his technique and skill he had so much potential but he threw it away because of partying and money
