If you are in the middle of no where and you catch a fish you are not suppose to then the question is are you going to have dinner or go to bed hungry? Canada is not necessarily a free country. With the information provided you don’t know whether Ovens is guilty or not! The presenter is of the school of guilty till proven innocent. However the basis of civil law is one is innocent till proven guilty. Insufficient proof was provided. Is this a hit piece? I don’t know but it sure seems so.

​@Plasmastorm73_n5evv they were yellowstone cutthroat which aren't even native to that region(banff/alberta) and had been stocked years ago. They might be endangered but they didn't belong in that lake in the first place and in fact parks canada has been killing off other lakes containing stocked/invasive yellowstone cutthroat to try and bring back the native westslope cutthroat trout.
