Good to see some success on Pflug. Even the smaller ones can be fun. Those were about the same size as what I was catching last time I was out there.

To my understanding, I do not believe Hoodoo kayaks are “Made in USA" as they claim… they are perhaps manufactured overseas (China I believe). A company would then be falsely claiming/advertising that their product is "MADE in USA"... when they are not. Your states Attorney Generals office could look into this and could send over an inspector to confirm this claim if you contact them. Perhaps this is why they are blowing you off and not giving you a tour? There is nothing wrong getting a great manufacturer in China, but it is illegal to claim and mislead customers by stating "MADE in USA" when they are not. Have a great product and just be honest to your customers where it is made and let the customer decide. Is it possible they do manufacture there in Texas... or at least setting it up to transfer their manufacturing from overseas to TX? Possible. A tour of their Texas MANUFACTURING equipment (not just their wrapped and boxed inventory) would put customers at ease. If they manufacture in TX, they should proudly have a video on their website and KZbin page showing such... I have not seen this. Unfortunately tho, I hear negative reviews from previous owners of Hoodoo Kayaks. Buyer beware.

@@basecampbrandexpeditions5272 I hear rumor they just now opened the space for rotomolding them in Texas. Way before they were built in Texas. Not even 💯 sure they are making them there yet still. But about a year ago they had made in America stickers places on them. At this point, just being blown off again since this video, I am done with them. I have zero faith about quality and where they are built.

@@charlescurryfishing They sound shady. You can be an "American" company based in the USA, but if your product is being manufactured overseas and shipped to the USA, then you place "made in America" stickers on them, this would be a HUGE issue for your states Attorney General office. It is pretty easy to place a complaint on the AGs websites. Regardless if they are made in China or America, customer service AND a quality build product is a MUST or people will catch on and their business will fail. There are other better kayak manufacturers out there.
