Som Nath ok 1) what do you imply by EUROPE? 2) I had been to Andamans several times when I was in India and being a tourist the names are now just overly confusing to pronounce 3) are you still implying the British are monster till today? Because I do know a lot of Indians have a bad reputation of still blaming the Brits for whatever is happening in India today, which is kind of stupid because I could just take the example of China and Singapore who gained independence at a similar time but have greatly outpaced India economically even though one being a communist

@@sondrejohansen48 Singapore was not a cash cow of Britishers but India was. You know Winston churchill? That monster killed more than 4+ Million people in India in "the great bengal famine 1943" during world war 2 We know we can't blame them for our present day situation but most of these are generated by them. And for name, It's a Indian Island so the name should be belongs to India not them.

Why you British peopke took kohinoor diamond along with them which doesn't belong to them 2 Its a independent India so we don't need any east india company's officer 's name . So the government changed the name in respect of Indian freedom fighter

Lived in Andamans as an army kid back in 1994, i remember visiting Ross island many times. Seems pretty much the same as my child mind remembers it. I think my mother still has a piece of the floor of the Church on her dressing table. Spent 3 awesome years as a kid playing around on deserted beaches, reading Enid Blyton's, collecting sea shells, eating wild berries, sleeping on the beaches and trekking the islands.

@@megalith7796 Brother I actually do agree with all that you have said except one thing that is official records. According to official records it's already mentioned that Netaji was died in a plane crash but do you believe? There is another official record too & that is from Taiwan Government which they clearly refuse to acknowledge any such plane crash at that given time! contradicted right? Official record said Netaji already died on a plane crash then whom GOI was spying on? You don't spy on a ghost, right? Actually what we all are doing is asking wrong things at a wrong place. We should pressurize GOI to publish the intelligence reports, not official records but you know that when somebody did file an RTI demanding the same Government refused to do so because it would spoil our diplomatic relations with some friend countries now the question is why & who are they? Don't be skeptical of anything & don't come to conclusion too fast my friend that's why I recommended you to do some research on this matter if you want to.
@rishabhdatta10265 жыл бұрын
@@angshukNag We should be somewhat thankful but not indebted. In politics & diplomatic world, there is no permanent allies or foes but only permanent interests. Japan that time was on the opposite side of the allied forces. British was there all over the world but united India was known to be the jewel in that crown. So in order to make British weaker, it was in Japan's interest to throw out the British not only from India but from Asia too. It was a calculative move from their side you know because at that time Britain was very powerful if not the powerful thus fall of Brits would bring a blow to the allied forces.

I have been here in 2017 just 1-2 kms away from Port Blair , it shows a vast contrasting difference between the two. He did not take the help of Japanese army to liberate India... He knew if Japanese army got involved then India would turn into a Japanese colony... British officers from that time have written that Subash Chandra Bose's freedom struggle was one of the key reason the British had to leave India....
