It is but the interior compared to the newer Benz make the CL feel really old, but yes the car is lovely I love the CL

Hate to see it go. I got rid of mine back in April. Command center went up and Mercedes (after $600) told me it was bad, they don’t sell them anymore, and I would have had to send it out myself to get repaired. I traded it a week later for a 2018 Jeep SRT. I do miss it but with every upgrade to the Jeep it gets easier. Keep the vids coming my dude.

man the muffler delete is perfect the perfect sound this cl has the perfect exhaust note. I repeat, this particular CL class has the perfect exhaust note. DEEP GROWLY V8. Nothing raspy and obnoxious

I still prefer this over the S550 coupe. The CL as you already mentioned has a timeless design and I will go as far to add that the body looks as though it was sculpted meticulously. The S550 looks obese and chunky to me compared to the CL.

Yeah just the CD player does not work, but everything else is good, yeah you might need a whole new unit

NEED ADVICE ON 14 CLS 550. had around 20-25 MBs over 20 years. 3 have had speakers fill car with smoke then crack. Always traded them but Im keeping this one . Always say I will never get another 🤦🏻‍♂️. Anyway. All have been Harmon Kardon logic 7 systems .. more videos I watch more I’m conflicted. They use 2ohm dual VC speakers. Do I replace the amp ( probably the original problem) and fried speakers w factory or bypass and run different amp and high Q 4 ohm speakers. ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME I WOULD APPRECIATE IT !!! Sitting in garage w fuse out of amps. Thanks

Bro it might be hard as the mercedes benz systems are complicated so it definitely will be pricey, but you need to take it to a good reputable place on the sound system

Uhh it’s questionable I feel like the s coupe looks newer, the CL a little dated, when comparing the 2, but it’s all opinionated, they actually look very similar when side by side

I don’t think I truly answered your question, so first it just got old, after having it for 5 years I got the opportunity to get the S coupe and it’s way better like the way it drives to the interior and features, also for a 550 the v8 biturbo makes it feel like a amg, the CL really didn’t have that feel, but to sum it up it just got old I wanted a newer car

Yeah just a little slow that’s the only thing about it the 0-60 was like 5.4 sec which is still fast for a heavy coupe but I know it’s not made for speed but the s550 coupe is blistering quick feels like a AMG but yes you don’t buy these for speed anyway
