Great video as usual. I do want to note that while there is a “cap” on the Anagen phase, our hair strands are not all in the same phase at the same time. Thank God he designed it that way or else we would be bald after every ten years and it would be impossible to maintain long hair after 10 years.. 😭😂. I also had a dramatic hair loss/ thinning in November 2020. I have been natural for about 10 years also, and I believe mine was also stress-induced. Thankfully I have seen growth and thickening since then. We just gotta keep pressing on sis.😘

Yes this happened to me for a very long time too and I only noticed when I started going bald as I was braiding all the time and my hairdresser did not mention it. I am glad you were able to find out the cause. I didn't notice the thinning of your hair either as I only started watching a year ago but now that you have shown the pictures I can see the difference. Your hair is still full and lovely though:)

Thanks for this video it’s very informative. I was natural for about five years and my hair did not only thin out but fall out as well. Obviously stress was a major factor and then my eating habits. I wasn’t eating right and healthy. I cut my hair totally and I’m starting all over again and guess what it’s growing! So far so good.

Hopefully things turns around for you. I am going through the same thing. I didn't notice until I just saw my edges receding and my hair was just coming out every time I wash and detangle my hair..I noticed my hair loss in October of last year. Still trying to manage my stress and changed up my hair regimen by adding more natural earthly things and keeping my regimen simple. Good luck hun! Your hair will grow again!

I don't know how you KZbinrs do it because if I had to manipulate my hair that much, I'd be bald! Your beautiful 4c hair reminds me of @Craving Curly Kinks but she hasn't returned to the tube since she had a horrible setback. My hair is very fine hi-po so much, much less is more à la @Naturally High. Apart from over-manipulation, natural aging and hormones change your hair drastically. Small wonder why many (not all) older women eventually have short hairstyles. Our hair can reduce in density or even become looser in texture over time. Post-partum shedding did a number on my hair but I'm still on the pregnancy/nursing vitamins. They help, if you don't mind hair growth in all the places! 😩 You're doing all the right things. Just don't forget to look after yourself too! Keep being your sunny, bright self and thanks for your videos ❤

Wow! So glad I found this. I noticed the thinning of my hair and the extremely short strands the last two years and I thought it was because of some mismanagement on my part. Since then, I intensified my efforts using onion juice and fenugreek....though a I am yet to see a difference. So, I am glad to know it was not mismanagement on my part, and looking forward to learning your new regimen.

Sis I feel you, though my loss and thinning is due to alopecia, I suspect our journey to fuller healthier hair will be similar. I've seen great improvement with ayurvedic treatments, namely Amla, fenugreek, bhringraj, brahmi, hibiscus and moringa. All can be infused to make oils and or teas for spritzes (my preference) or rinses. Also you can mix them in your deep conditioner to create a powerful masque. Can't wait to see your creations. Blessings.

I had some hair loss in December 2020 post covid. It came out of nowhere and I didn't realize it was happening and didn't know that hair loss was an after effect! It left my hair thin, lifeless, and stringy. I'm finally getting my hair back. It's even coming back more manageable this time!

Ladies, please have your TSH levels checked as well when seeing hair loss. Your thyroid being out of balance can cause hair loss.

Just a note on the Hair Journal, which I ordered, you will not be able to edit or enter your data into your journal unless you opt for the trial Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader does download the e-book but does not let you edit without ordering the extra feature that allows for editing. There is a 7 day free trial, but I did not take it because I did not want a monthly bill. This is not Chinwe's fault, as she did all she could to help, but I would have to buy the extra feature to edit in my PDF. Hope this helps.
