I met RGV in his office COMPANY 6 years back. In real life he is still sharp and intelligent when you talk to him. But in work front he has surrounded himself with Yes Men, that's how he choose team not based on talent but who will do most buttering and come cheap. He can't digest even minor criticism. You criticize, you are out. He will choose scripts where he has to do minimum hard work. Every evening is vodka time. His time is gone which he wants to regain without hard work, without any sacrifice. I am still a fan of old RGV.

I watched Satya after 20 years just yesterday. My respect for RGV as a visionary director has increased tremendously. Among the thousands of Indian films, Satya towers above the rest like a giant. His eccentric behavior maybe due to some other personal issue or choice. Maybe he just doesn't care about people's opinions anymore, but for his genius and his monumental work, he deserves our respect.

I am one of his big following fans from shiva till now ....He is what he is" he don't care about anything.....anything It's undoubtedly true he is one the greatest Director of all time Especially his Creativity which makes him different from other Film makers , I strongly believe that he can come back any day only if he wants ...I still remember an interview where Manoj Bajpai said" HE IS LIKE A OLD WINE IN A NEW BOTTLE", as you said he already Reached his stardom @ his earliest period of time ... RGV's COMPANY (2002) is one of the best gangster films ever made. Such great cinematography, editing, locations and screenplay. Nishabd (2007) is also a great movie starring Amitabh Bachchan. Also, another of his greatest films is Not A Love Story (2011), it was such a powerful film, my jaw dropped. I see many people not talking about this movies while mentioning RGV's works. It was his last great work back in 2011.
