13:08 I used to watch Idubbz back then and today now that I've gotten older I decided to ask this question when people bring him up and the words he used to say. "What was so funny or what was the joke about when he said the n-word or f-slur?" There is never a good or valid answer, and he would use the n-word even if it wasn't a quote to a Mark Twain book. There was nothing funny about it, it was edgy shock value and well not very good people always defended him. He would use it as an insult as well. Sure, some parts of the internet like only twitter to be honest got "soft" even though wild stuff is found on there, but the internet didn't really get soft cause people still get away with outlandish terrible things vailed as jokes in 2023. I mean people are being called groomers for just existing and nothing is being done about it. The internet didn't really get softer, it better at weeding out trolls that knowingly or unknowingly promote dangerous ideology. Idubbz realises the affect he had on marginalized groups and tries to distence himself from what he was back then. So did H3H3, they are doing that for more reasons than just business. It maybe you don't understand the consequences they caused today from their past content because you were his main demographic while. Yes, you aren't POC, gay or trans. He tried to normalize the odd stuff and it worked. I remember white kids in my school spamming that and being like "It's freee speech" and laughing at a black person who was offended by that. Like what???
