I'd love to know what happened to that statue/animatronic. Sega recently managed to rescue a statue from a game convention in the 90s, which was restored to its former glory, and the same should be done for this as well. It's a piece of gaming/90s history!

Yeah, we believe it's by the employee area standing with some Lego figures! It's probably still there but who knows!?

There’s still a picture of dr eggman near the end of the ride and the person speaking when the ride starts sounds like sonic in Sonic X

nice video :) If spin-ball whizzer was replaced it would likely be for a like for like family coaster. I think that the park will invest in a new SW and possibly a couple of permanent flat rides before removing spin-ball whizzer. The park is likely to try to get at least another 5-10 years out of the ride before its removed/replaced.

Sonic Spinball, because although the branding and theming was pretty limited it was at least better then it is now.
