Man that draft class was stacked! Personally I can’t believe we got Jones and Hill so late in that draft and they’re arguably now the top paid player at their positions! Add Thuney to the offensive lineup with Creed and Trey Smith, it’s hard not to say we got the best position players in all of football, ei; Mahomes, Kelsey, Butker, McDuffie, Sneed (before he was traded) and the majority of Db’s and linebackers, we were rolling deep! I can’t believe Henry was still available along with a few other studs after Jones. But I believe we got the best player that year as he was critical to all of our 3 Super Bowl wins during the playoffs and especially in many clutch drives or plays that clearly sealed the win!

DT's usually don't go #1 overall, as the last DT selected first in the draft was Dan Wilkinson in 1994, he ended up being very average. Hell, the Texans took Jadeveon Clowney #1 overall in 2014 over Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack.

lmao 2 playoff wins for the Lions is good for our standards and if it weren't for a couple of drops, a Gibbs fumble, and a unlucky play by vildor, they would have made the super bowl. Also would do that trade because that's the best thing we've done for years and you're just a casual if you think we didn't also win that trade. A trade is supposed to be beneficial for each other, not one upping one another so both teams won the trade. Also we're not that disappointed because this is the best team we had in 30 years after I lost friends and family along the way.
