This title is precisely what I asked when I returned to the game after a 0:26 one year break. Seriously, what's up with rank 30 and why is everyone so obsessed with getting it and those who have it are toxic to everyone who doesn't have rank 30? Because yall do realize all you're achieving is boosting the rank boosters' businesses, for rank 30 isn't a confirmation of your skill as it's easier to get on lower trophies. If you have 10 rank 30s at 20K trophies that doesn't make you better than a 50K player with 0 rank 30s, sorry to break that to you. Toxic af community and it wasn't always this way. And yes, I do have rank 30, two in fact, I planned to progressively increase the trophies of all my brawlers but it's impossible to get teammates without one, everyone just kicks you out immediately without even giving you a chance to prove yourself worth playing with. Which is sad because I could carry them to rank 30 if they asked for it, I am ex top 20 local player.

@Romashka_Sov No, not in that sense at least. Nobody cared for rank 30 up until recently, and nobody was publicly announcing that they get people to rank 30 in exchange for money up until recently. Yes, people were amazed when you had lots of trophies and were trying to reach as much themselves. But they wouldn't immediately kick you out or straight up refuse to play with you unless you have one like they do now. The issue isn't rank 30 itself, the issue is how people perceive it and especially their lack of understanding of its value. It's wortless on 0-30K, means you got a bit of skill with certain brawlers for 40-60K, and if you're past that point probably all of your brawlers are near rank 30 and you're indeed very skilled. And the reason for that is the matchmaking that pairs you with bots below 30K, past 30K your opponents are relatively good but still not too strong, past 60K you're actually fighting strong players. I hope this clarifies things, I didn't mean that people didn't perceive it as something great back in the day, I'm saying that now it's straight up a requirement for finding good teammates which is an issue. Because for somebody like me that's returning to the game after a while and already has lots of trophies, it's harder to get rank 30 so you'd want good teammates but you can't get any teammates without one so you're stuck in an endless cycle of trying to reach rank 30 to get good teammates just to realize you need ones to get rank 30 and so on. It's extremely toxic and stupid. I already got my rank 30s through duels and people now do actually play with me. If before I had to search for hours to find a party, now they accept me immediately. Back in the day I had no issue finding a party either and not because I was top local player, I had no issue even before that, most people hadn't.
