What happened to THIS Julian Draxler?

Julian Draxler is a German professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Germany national team. He is known for his ability to use both feet, his speed, and the power of his shot.
Draxler made his Bundesliga debut for Schalke 04 aged 17 in January 2011, and in May of that year scored the first goal as the side won the DFB-Pokal Final. In total, he played 171 competitive matches for Schalke, scoring 30 goals, before transferring to VfL Wolfsburg in 2015. In January 2017, he joined PSG.

Football is evolving towards a 4-3-3 high press game that relies on athletic, rapid forwards, and balanced midfielders who can attack and defend. Number 10's and pure "forward midfielders" are becoming obsolete. Think of Ozil or Coutinho. Draxler isn't going to take a spot in PSG's front 3 any time soon.. so.. he needs to adapt like DeBruyne did, and probably move to a different club. What a shame. Fantastic player in his prime.

People say that but neymar and james are examples of players that still play well as free roam midfielders. Even messi to a degree. Truth is draxler is just, in theory, neymars bench. Doesn’t really have the pace to explode down a wing as you say. Needs faster players around him for the most part.
