They lied to you multiple times the past few years, and their current battle pass scheme fucking sucks. At least XDefiant has an excuse for not being as good because it is a whole new IP. Unlike CoD, CoD is dead, and Activision is the Murderer. The only way CoD will be redeemed is if Activision-Blizzard no longer exists. Hell, do you see OW2? Literally the same game as the original, but with a different payment system. OW had the best loot box system because all it was, was purely cosmetic and if you got dupes you got the in-game currency to buy what you wanted. My brother has all the skins in the original, and if it wasn't for Xbox he would have lost all of those skins he spent years grinding for. Mark Rubin is at least being as honest as possible. Fortnite had the same issue with PUBG, but they couldn't wait to release because GoW was down and almost dead if it wasn't for Fortnite, so they released it on Beta. Some with Minecraft before it became a full fledged game. Games are hard to develop, and I hope they send out the games when it is done. No more waiting a full year for all the content, no more BS battle pass system that more than encourage you to spend at least $200 if you want to get "All the good skins." Aka P2W. MW3 is going to be the new worst CoD ever, and it won't be the game's fault. It just wasn't suppose to be a game.

The negative things about xdefiant are just that you cant grind for mastery and prestige weapon camos or customizations in general and that there are operators with unique abilities. Weapons ,maps, drop time and mechanics/movement are really good and the developers really listen to their communitiy instead of randomly making hundreds of collabs and deleting skill gap by using sbmm in every playlist. No hope in cod anymore 💔

Saying it got destroyed was a reach. They are very different games. I enjoyed the beta, and don’t mind waiting for a polished product. CoD will continue to anger their fan base one update at a time.
