It’s true. We were living so authentically and creatively that a large majority actually came together with the ocvupy movement and pointed the finger at Wall Street as the cause for wars, economic disparities, and social divide. They really didn’t like that we were actually pointing a finger at the target so they gave us the current political puppetry.

As a musician for many, many years I have been fighting the bedtime/wake up time battle forever. Sometimes you are just way more creative at night and you look up and its 4am and it sucks when you have to be up or worse when others expect you to be on their schedule when it does not work with your life and job. I do think having uneven sleep patterns are worse for your body though. I have even had doctors tell me that people who work nights live shorter lives.

Love these more ranty videos, how you sometimes contradict yourself, it’s so human, so genuine. I prefer the original ancient Roman version of yolo, carpe diem, seize the day, I think that fits the actual sentiment a little better. You’ve got to make sure that you live every day to the fullest, gaining the necessary experience, so that when the end comes, one can face it with minimal regrets. Yes, that includes the necessary (daily) sacrifices for bettering ourselves, the slow walk on the straight and narrow golden path, but it also includes grace and enjoying life, living in and experiencing the moment, making mistakes. (going to McDonalds) Yolo and improvement culture are not an opposed duality, it is a balance, a unity, where one can try different combinations, to live life.

there's something called a circadian rhythm and if its disrupted too much you will become an insomniac. that's why we sleep at certain times and for certain durations. YOLO sort of resembles the philosophy of wabi-sabi or what Bukowski calls "not trying." Pretty much, don't try to be a perfectionist and instead embrace imperfections because the world was not designed to be perfect. my only issue with YOLO is that it encourages people to somewhat give up pretty fast, which is not what wabi-sabi is. YOLO is best represented by the mindset of the mega rich who don't really care about their excessive materialistic lifestyle and would waste resources or take things for granted because it feels convenient to them and they can afford to live that way.

Honestly back in 2010, things at least economically were in fact much better and being before covid and all that crap there was a different outlook on life. Yolo I believe preceeded 2010 I think it originated sometime in the 90s but don't hold me to that. The thing is we need to be learning how to improve OURSELVES...CONSISTENTLY. That is the ONLY way we can become disciplined. I go back and fourth anymore trying to make sense of it all, but the inflation and agendas being pushed by our bureaucrats all but destroyed the spark of hope in many individuals, and we need help leading each other back to focusing on whats most important in life. Life only happens once, so Yolo is just a simple fact.

Jip, just like me, I start in my studio in the morning, and it's so cool that I lose track of time. When I check my watch, I realize, "Wow, without taking a single break, I've already spent 12 hours on my computer without even having a sip of lemon water." Instead of taking a break, I just keep working until the next afternoon. When I finally finish, I know I should sleep, but no-I decide to go buy a coffee first. By the time I get back home and feel ready to sleep, it's already 4:00 PM. Then I think, "Why sleep now?" and drink more coffee to push through until 10 or 11 PM. You can live like this until you're about 40, but after that, you'll start to feel the damage in your body, and trust me, you'll feel it hard.

Since he start seeing other peoples` needs and troubles and moved spotlight from self ego to other peoples` struggles as well. Its so hard to have a relationship the woman I loved always looked for small things to complain some were actually justified for me but most WERE NOT. The constant urge for criticism on a person who you should love and take how you are always pickin on something. We live in a world now where everyone is disatisfied and tries to get this from him or her inner world to the people around them. It is like a disease and also depressing. People will become more and more lonesome over time. I have very deep senses to this it is like I go to a shop and the woman who works there tries to piss me off only me for just being there buying my stuff. It is just hate and hate sprays and sprays to whoever. Thats how I feel it.

(CELL PHONE ADDICTION DID THIS). There used to be better socials (Vine, Yik Yak), which were about the yolo way of life. I also feel like everyone is dressed so well and maxing out everything they're doing, and back then style was more simple, I can't keep up with these people. I connect with so much of what you say. I so agree that life was worthing living back in 2010 and you felt you could connect with people more, part of it is there is no more culture, time is passing and nothing is really changing. Major thing I'm tryna do is just use social media basically not at all. YOLO!

And then I start a private company with friends and worked even more. But then I get ill very badly. But still, I was able to keep my work and earn money. Despite this, I was sick for many years and medicine was not working, and it was not because of work. So if I was lazy, I would die in misery. So I am happy that I did maximum in my early age. Now I am 40 and still could earn for life. My next thing is to overcome my health limitations with a help of chi-gong, but it is a different story. Once I was asked what are your hopes and dreams? I didn't know why to say and I was sad because I felt they were all out of reach so why talk about them. Yet day by day I still find happiness. Just when I think about my future then I feel a deep sadness.🤔

It’s healthy living. Going to bed on time. Being ready for work. Planing for entertainment. Whether married or not. Pick your friends wisely. You don’t know why to follow these old rules. Parents pass it on to their children so they don’t have to learn on their own. Going your own is called hard knocks. By the time you get older, you will realize they were right. And you wasted your life finding out later in life.

With experience you learn people don't change, people are different. We live and die, could be here one second and the next gone. There is no one to please, no trends to follow. You got your life and what you do is out of your necessities . What makes you cool is making the best of or doing the best you can in whatever you do. When you do this everything always falls into place and you stay cool. Literally cool, not losing your mind or getting overemotional. You stay level headed and can make good decisions compared to when you're not cool. I believe people now are trying to be cool. Peace and be cool !
