When I heard JHope’s message about the wildfires in LA, I was truly touched by his message. I am ARMY and I am a resident of Los Angeles. It was so thoughtful of him and he meant nothing more, nothing less. The Bangtan Boys have all been in LA and JHope is coming back as part of his tour. As an ARMY and a resident of LA, I selfishly don’t care what anyone else thinks, his message touched my heart. We love you Hobi.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I have a lot of thoughts about this "fanbase". I'd say that I never saw such enmity in a fanbase but I really don't think this is a BTS ARMY problem. The people who are laser focused on the problems in Gaza are not ARMY. They are a separate group who have used many other groups to get attention for their cause. I'm not saying their cause isn't a good one. But it isn't the only problem the world is offering up right now. And no one can focus on all the world's problems at once. The people who are focused on Gaza need to narrow their goals to groups of people who might be actually able to help them. They need to use their group protests with the UNGA. I'm sure someone on that counsel can steer them in the right direction.

Fellow Angeleno & ARMY here. It was a fire tornado. I don't believe in modern day, we have seen a natural disaster such as this. The news clips that have been circulated went worldwide. As you stated, J-Hope commented on a natural disaster that happened in a city he travels to often and will be visiting in a few months. It's disgraceful that anyone would criticize such a lovely message.

I can infer the other situation, considering there was a protest on the first day of the California fire. The protesters seemed indifferent to the fire itself. Palestinians are pressuring HYBE and BTS to declare their stance on the matter, but they have chosen not to take sides-just like many of us. Instead, people should be grateful that the war has ceased. What you're saying in this video resonates with me. The natural disaster likely impacted HYBE since HYBE America is located in Santa Monica, just one mile from the Palisades, which may explain why J-Hope spoke out-accounting for 30% of the reason, in my opinion. Not only that he has a lot of friends in Hollywood. Idols are often expected to act like puppets, allowing fans to dictate their actions.

For those that are saying he only said that to promote his upcoming concerts just let me say any member of BTS could hold a concert in a bathroom and thousands of fans would want to attend.
