@@JanxZ Interestingly, you could argue that hypercritical is used correctly. Hypo- means a lack of, and Hyper- means too much of. The most popular example of this prefix is in medicine: hypoglycemia is a critically low concentration of glucose in the blood, while hyperglycemia is a critically high presence of of glucose. Anthony IS being hypercritical- he's overly critical for someone that forgot he had spare keys. But at the same time he is hypocritical for his clear lack of critical thinking skills. For some reason though, we use the word hypocritical specifically to refer to people that impose rules on others that they wouldn't on themselves. Guess it evolved over the years. Anyways my point stands that OP was still well-understood by using the word "hypercritical"
