@@judeyy2xit’s because he quit on us. He sabotaged his career by downing his tools [again and again], and ultimately worked to the disadvantage of our beloved club. As long as we have hope this is temporary, that it’s gonna get better, we support him. Once we know he doesn’t wanna give his all to this club [because it’s the third manager he’s not getting along with, despite all the chances he was given], the animosity kicks in.

The guys been the best preforming player under every manager he’s been under, not that that’s really saying a lot since almost every single player we’ve had in the last decade have been terrible and even then, that’s a damning indictment on the failures of the club from a structural perspective. He looks completely disillusioned from the fans now and can you blame him? He’s got idiots like you saying things like that which are just completely untrue. Which 3 managers has he not got along with 😂 Downing tools yet again, he played through a serious back injury and a bone floating in his ankle because we needed him, for God’s sake. Remember Elanga and his workrate? He was one of the few that looked decent under Rangnick. But got a lot of stick for not being good enough even though he was an academy graduate and barely out of his teens when he was struggling a bit. So I'm not sure the fans have much more patience with players that seems to run harder.

How many times have we had this conversation about Rashford?
@thehumblegent
@thehumblegent 3 сағат бұрын
I’m sorry but the amount of excuses people make for Rashford is ridiculous. Oh it’s because of a new boss, oh he’s got problems off-field, oh it’s the changes of position et cetera. He’s lazy, does fuck all to fight for the team, he appears childish and immature in his off and on-field behaviour. He’s a prime-donna who is paid a disgusting amount of wages in parsimonious times, with MUFC staff are being laid off and regular people with barely a pot to piss in. He needs a reality check and realise how lucky he is. He then posts a message with a ‘Well done lads’ trite message after the city win. MUFC has been royally fucked over by the likes of Woodward playing Bill big bolux and offering foolish wages to barely above average players that we are now unable to get rid off because no one wants them. We’re an absolutely dire team but I hope the new fella clears the egos, sick-notes and dross. Rashford and Garnacho aren’t the elite players they think they are and MUFC and our fans are so guilty for almost jizzing and overhyping anything that comes along. He had one good season and the rest, almost average. If he’s not happy and he doesn’t pull his finger out and knuckle down he should just fuck off and join another team or become a postman. Fin.

Rashford is one of those academy graduates like Pogba and Lingard, who thinks he's made it already and just sat back doing minimum effort, thinking he's untouchable and undroppable just because he has seniority and scored 30 goals one season. He thinks he's done enough. He's been given a far too lucrative contract at a too young age. When you give that much money to a man-child he has no reason to grow up. So he just blames everything and everyone for his lacklustre performances. Then when he manages to score a goal he celebrates it as if us fans were wrong to criticise him. Disgraceful attitude! He also uses his status against coaches he doesn't like to get them sacked (basically all of them). And it's worked flawlessly in the past so he thinks he has that power. That player power stops with Amorim! Garnacho grew a massive melon head since that bicycle kick goal. He thinks he's the main character. His ego surpassed his limited abilities. So like Rashford he thinks he's made it, and stopped working hard. And when he's benched his ego gets hurt and he leaks team sheets to get back to the coach hoping to get him sacked eventually. Both of them need to be sold asap! I would also isolate them completely from the first team, like Sancho.

I definitely want him to be sold asap because I believe his presence in the squad is detrimental to our potential progress. I feel the same way about several other players at United, Luke Shaw would have been out of the door years ago if I had any say in the matter and I'm more pissed off about him conning a millionaire lifestyle out of United than Marcus who has played with a broken back for United before he was given a ridiculous pay rise. if he was a £60k a week squad player most United fans wouldn't be as angry or disappointed with him as they are

Amorim has come up with a system where with just very good players (not necessarily world class), that fit the position, who are prepared to work hard and never stop, he can be almost unbeatable. The thing I noticed is the group of 5 players pressing the ball and all players it may be passed to. Plus keep the ball when you’ve got it back. He may be the next football genius: I hope so.

Theres absolutely no doubt that there are players in that dressing room who resent Rashford getting what appears to be special treatment. Hes basically got away with murder and been rewarded handsomely for failing miserably. And his lack of work rate is pissing players off. They dont want the current Rashford in there. Its caused a terrible atmosphere to the point were he doesnt interact with other players. Thats not acceptable. He is aware the club are looking to off load him. And not before time.

@@LeanBeanLou The manager will say whatever he feels like to try and get his point across. No matter if he's bending the truth a little or not. He clearly said Evans, Rashford and Garnacho was not included for the same type of reason. He listed a bunch of stuff that could factor in. But he never said if any of those factors were the actual reason. Anyone with a brain can figure out that it's probably not the exact same reasons for all three of them. Trying to figure out who was omitted for what reason is just going to be a guessing game. The gaffer never said it. And he probably had good reason. Even though he said it wasn't for diciplinary reason, he might not have told the truth if he thinks it servs him and the team better to fib a little.

Why do we include garancho in this conversation with rashy? It should be normal if he is drop or bench.

Garnacho is still practically a child, he can still be moulded and there is time to change. Rashford is 27, he is supposed to be mature and in his prime, leading the club with the correct attitude and work ethic. A player with that bad an attitude at that age likely aren't changing.
@xDanske

@@SirMonkeySuit oh yeah that’s true. I like garnacho. I hope he does change and can be moulded to be good for united. His attitude and work rate is not that good atm and his poor performances in games after amorim came. I hope he learns to fit into the new system and shows he is ready to work as hard as amad does

I have never been on the sell Rashford side of the fence, but now I think he definitely needs to be sold, more from the perspective of his playing style not being suited to Amorim's philosophy. Let him go to France where he can focus on attack and running at players. PSG will be a perfect fit.

Carnacho is so young it's understandable why he's struggling to adapt in my opinion just needs to look up take the pass Rashford has seen the likes of Greenwood Scotty go abroad and probably had positive reactions from them

Would have been interesting to see if Pellistri would have flourished under Amorim like Amad has had he not been shipped out. He gave me the impression of being a hard worker with good decision making. Unselfish. Strange how he was so far down the pecking order.

Our team lineups were leaking long before Garnacho joined the first team, I don't think he's the source of the leaks to be fair. It's been happening almost every week since the Jose days.

Evans was left out too. Come on the media focussed on Garna and rash as big names. Amorim mentioned j Evans too. Ask that question too and it gives you more of an idea than the rumour mill

The only thing that I can’t stop thinking about is whether Rashford’s that stupid or he just couldn’t be less bothered. We speak "work rate", we speak "tenacity", "urgency", "pride", "tracking back", but ultimately, deep down, it’s about bloody running. For a person who cares, there can hardly be anything easier to fix in his game. So either he’s total imbecile, or he just doesn’t care AT ALL. I’m not sure which is worse…

the only clubs that benefit from constantly getting on Rashford's case would be City, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. They are quite happy to see Rashford fail. Why United fans want to see Rashford fail is anyones guess.
@MrPeter-nr9gd

Don't want to see him fail, but he's the most overrated United player I've ever seen. He's in his 10th season at United and averaging 10-11 goals and much the same in assists a season and getting a wage 3 times more than what Harry Kane was getting scoring 30-40 goals a season at Spurs. 2 times in 10yrs he's scored 17goals in the league yet people call him a world class player. The lad has been 💩 for the last season and a half and everyone was saying it and that he should be dropped and now he gets dropped everyone is coming out with the poor Marcus BS. He's had every opportunity last season and this season to up his game and he couldn't be arsed, saunters around the pitch like an entitled spoilt brat. My kids are more enthusiastic about cleaning their room for pocket money than Rashford is playing football earning 350k a week. GGMU
