This is a very high speed version of a dental check-up. It is intended to give you an idea of what to expect. When patients have questions, or need more time, our dentists listen carefully and provide care to meet individualized needs.

Our dental office is filled with gentle, patient, kind, compassionate and caring dentists. We work with patients to explain everything and proceed at a pace comfortable for them. Our best tip for dental patients is to communicate with their dentist about any concerns or fears.

Make an appointment as soon as possible. Don't let small concerns become large problems.

So I haven't been to the dentist in a few years because once I became an adult do to my terminal illness my health has really started going down the drain. We finally got it stable but not going back up. Now I do require a 24/7 nurse to be with me at all time because my health problems can flare up at any given time. I'm on a 24/7 feeding pump so she manages that by making the feeding go in faster and slower as needed I'm on a continuous oxygen monitor so that way if my oxygen does drop she can help and I am a fall risk so when I walk she is my support. But anyways this probably depends on the particular dentist office but will the hygienist and the dentist allow my nurse to be right by me the whole time? Because if I need some help she has to be there to help me out. She even needs to help me get up and lay down on the chair because I lost a lot of strength. And if the oxygen monitor slows down on the beeping she has to be able to be right by me to get my oxygen concentrator on me and started

Hi Anthony, We wish you all the best, especially at this concerning time. In compliance with the American Dental Association mandate, we are only providing emergency dental care at this time. When we are back to business as usual, yes, your nurse is welcome to stay at your side during a dental visit.

@@lmccarl Thank you I just wanted to make sure because during most procedures my nurse has been able to accompany me during the whole thing. I just didn't know if it was the same for dental procedures because I don't know how often dental offices get someone coming in with an oxygen concentrator oxygen monitor feeding pump

What is the process for no prep veneers? Like what goes on before hand with the patients? Any testings?
@lmccarl6 жыл бұрын
JunkFood Junkie Greetings, we will evaluate your teeth to see if you are a candidate for no prep veneers.
@junkfoodjunkie64816 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. Last question, have patients ever been denied no prep veneers?
@lmccarl6 жыл бұрын
If a patient has protrusive or overlapping teeth they would not be a candidate for no preparation veneers. No prep veneers are ideal for people with small or flat teeth with spaces. Sometimes normally presenting teeth will give excellent results but never crowded, overlapped or protrusive teeth.

Thank you. I’ll look into getting braces before getting the no prep veneers.

@lmccarl6 жыл бұрын
If your teeth are sensitive to cold there is a solution called pain free that your dentist can use to help decrease tooth sensitivity.

Communication. Explain concerns to your dentist. Maybe they will have ideas to address your concerns about dental visits.
