I've been going through the same thing regarding my relationship with the Lord. It can be difficult to embrace hard times or suffering, because let's be real who really enjoys going through hardship. After watching your video I felt lead to share a word that has helped in my faith. in the book of Exodus when Moses is up the mountain w/ God, the Israelites were impatient (maybe afraid) and in that they turned to worshiping the golden calf... the story goes on. The point is it's never a sinful thing to be needy, all creatures have needs. It becomes sinful when we rebel against God to get those needs met, especially when we consider God to be the primary source of our satisfaction. So like you said turn to him in the good, bad and everything in between. And remember all the times He's delivered you from tough situations time and time again!
