How will STT get impacted? They have increased the STT in such a manner that there is no impact on the tax collection because of the SEBI move. The fall in the STT due to fall in turnover gets compensated by the increased STT.

If you wanted to decrease the speculation you people should have banned the big forign hedge funds who are buying and selling options in intraday and taking positions in cash market accordingly because they have huge money to move the market in their favour and make money in f&o. None of your rules are now going to affect them. Look at yesterday's fall in last 30 minutes. But you are letting those foreign people make money but not the small retail people

This lady in charge of SEBI is a media crazy person.She likes to see her mug on media everyday.What is the need for this lady to come out with 3 or 4 press release every day.These radical changes would kill the liquidity in the market.She must be fired ASAP to save India capital market.
