What happens if you die in the World Map in Super Mario Galaxy 2?

I actually found a way to die in the World Map in Galaxy 2 by placing Pull Stars and a Black Hole near the "Spawn Point" of the World Map I got some interesting and strange game behavior.
First, the game seems to treat World Maps like levels instead of a "Hub Level" because Mario or Luigi can actually lose a life in the World Map, despite that they can't within Starship Mario, or the game's Credits.
Since you can still control Starship Mario for some reasons, trying to go to a different world interrupt the "Too Bad!" cutscene, although you still lose a life. and if you do that a little bit later, the regular life cound screen occur instead.
Also going to another world during a Game Over actually override it (just like the first Too Bad!) because the Game Over cutscene is longer, and the life counter don't actuallo go below 0, but getting a Game Over during the "Fly to This Galaxy" cutscene the Game Over override that cutscene instead ( • More Worldmap Deaths a... ), and if you get a Too Bad during that cutscene, the game softlock on a white screen with the flying sound effect playing indefinitely (Not shown in the video).

Yeah; although I actually managed to softlock the game off-video by doing the same thing at 1:47, but having lives instead of zero.

The player is actually in the World Map at the center of the world map (0,0,0) but invisible. It only become visible when you select "Fly to this Galaxy", but it can actually be interacted with the cursor by placing Pull Stars in the map near the center.
