In Windows 8 Betas before Consumer Preview, turn off Redpill and then the OS is able to work normally like it was in Windows 7. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+F9 to disable DWM

17:08 The reason why the taskbar flashes is because that explorer.exe keeps crashing and then it restarts. And then it will do the same thing over and over again. To stop this problem, you have to completely end explorer.exe. However, it will not show the taskbar nor the items that run under explorer.exe (e.g. Start, Search, Taskbar, etc.)

I tested after a while with windows 10 and IT WORKS WITHOUT DWM, you just need to wait a few minutes but desktop loads and taskbar works and no flashing UWP apps and start menu dont work but you can launch apps and stuff kinda works

It kinda started with Windows 8, but at least we were only dealing with Metro design and the desktop UI that has theme pretty much like Aero but flattened and squared off. Windows 10 is simply a mess that at the surface you will notice Metro design, the newer but still unpolished MDL2 design, and some elements of Vista/7 Aero. Inconsistencies is more prominent with Windows 10, and somehow it got worse with Fluent Design since not everything got updated to it and some remained with MDL2. Heck Windows 11 still have on-screen volume bar from Windows 8.

BTW Dynamically allocated just take 10 GB if you set your virtual machine to 64 GB. I always use 64 GB. Windows has 30+ operating systems 9 (Not include beta). And *2 equals 60 because it has x86 and x64. Android has 14 operating systems. And *2 equals 28. You said all operating systems, then Linux has 600+ distros *2 = 1200. Mac OS has 14 operating systems. *2 = 28. Then 60+28+1200+28 = 1316+ virtual machines. And all it takes 13160+ GB.@@World_of_OSes
