Ok seriously. Wtf Nintendo. The first time I did this I failed and felt like shit. Almost reset the damn game. (Missed the ghost in the back) when they took her away I didn't know what to think. She was gone for a whole day. A whole day with them. A little girl. Just to come back with no memory. Mental problems. And just completely different. THIS SCARED ME. Because at the time when I played this. I was a little kid. I thought this could happen. And frankly if you don't save her every time you restart the 3 days, doing a dungeon or a diffrent side quest. SHE GETS TAKEN NO MATTER WHAT. I love this game... But... Its creepy without even trying to be

This only happens if Link influences in her sidequest. Yeah, the aliens will take the cows no matter what but unless Link agrees to help Romani, I doubt she attempts to fend off the aliens on her own because her behavior is normal in other cycles. Happy thoughts?

whats even more fucked up is that abductees claim they have had some of their reproductive parts taken out of them or have been raped by the aliens. i would rather take door number 2 and say she was raped and so traumatized she lost her memory, or the aliens took her memoried after raping her.

I remember when I did this, it was like straight out of a movie: I was late because I was in a temple and forgot. Then I remember and got the hell out of the temple and had Epona take me to the ranch. When I got there, there were aliens about to go into the stable. I barely managed to kill those before turning back to the others... the rest is history.

I always felt really terrible when I saw this cutscene when I first played. I didn't realize that one was behind the barn and that one got to it every time. Then I finally realized and won. It was such a relief when I did. This is legit terrifying though.

Indeed, although post-abduction Romani is ... sort of not very talkative. If your first visit to the Ranch is on day 3, you won't know the backstory of what happened yet, only that _something_ is amiss.

If you don't try to protect the ranch, Romani tries to protect it herself with her bow and fails. All the cows are taken which is why she's so traumatized on the final day. When Link tries to help, she goes inside to be with the cows.... and thus gets taken with the cows thinking Link can handle it. In other words, Link fucks everything up.

I don't think you'd notice her unless you were looking for her, but she's there. She's got a blank look on her face and I don't think she actually says anything.

I don't like that! I don't like to see Link failed to save the cows and Romani from the "ghosts" on the first night between 2:30 and 5:15. It is easier to play the Inverted of Time to slow the game's time on Link's Ocarina just before 2:30 on the first day at night. Defeating the "ghosts" before reaching the barn is a snap, and in long range. They drop a bundle of arrows when the "ghost" is shot down each time you shoot at them and it is a breeze if Link is equipped with a Bunny Hood. If you save the cows as well as Romani by 5:15, then Romani will give Link a bottle full of Romani Milk for this event.
