Most of Mac users who also want to use mechanical keyboards at the same time, this makes annoying. Because most of machanical keyboards are for windows and using win key as command key often makes Mac users confuse or mistype since the command key located alt key position in apple keyboards. However, you can switch location of key back to original apple keyborad's layout. Option 1 is check the bottom of the keyboards you want to use and if you find 4 small switches called DIP switches, turn up the switch number 2(or maybe other switch depends on what your keyboard manufacturer is) than it will swap keys win(command) and alt(option) just like appke's magic keyboard. If your keyboard doesn't have the DIP switches, than you'll have to use Karabiner-Elements app. This is option 2. Install Karabiner-Elements in your Mac OS device and set the key location thru 'simple modification' option. If you are too lazy to do both option 1 or 2, than buy a mechanical keyboard already Mac OS compatable Like Keychron, Varmillo for mac, Topre real force for mac which are not various options or color choices like ordinary Windows based keyboards.

So on Mac command is like control?
@Zebra_Paw2 жыл бұрын
@@rascalpants08lizziedrippin69 kinda... you do command c to copy, command c to paste, command s to save... but some of our well known shortcuts are obviously different. This doesn't make macOS worse, we had to learn Windows shortcuts, obviously we have to learn macOS shortcuts too if we want to use it. Funnily enough, some Apple mice don't have any right click ability, or it's hard to use. In that case ctrl+left click will act as right click. There are other reasons to not use macOS, such as the M1 Macs lifespan being severely limited... basically if your SSD dies you are absolutely screwed, it won't even let you boot to an external drive anymore. Your options: 1. Cry and never buy an Apple product again! 2. Bring that to Louis Rossmann as replacing the NAND and reflashing the firmware will fix it. Louis should be able to get that NAND for your device!
