Since the ending of the chapter requires players to use the train in order to escape the building with Poppy. What would happen if you tried to use the train early at the beginning of the game with the correct train code? Let's find out!

Since Mommy Long Legs doesn't want us to leave/live, maybe she's sabotaged the train (Maybe by watching us in the control room above the station and using that control panel?) so even if we did win all three games, we still wouldn't be able to leave. That's just my logical take on it though.

I've seen the train code numbers be different for different players- i think the number combination changes everytime

Sadly this is false. The combination doesn't change everytime. Also its not different for everyone. Its the same code for all. They didn't have the time to program a code randomized and they didn't make randomized code hints. Obviously this would've taken them too long and would only delay the game even more resulting in the community getting angry over the delay. So to prevent backlash they had to make the code the same for everyone and program the train to be unusable during the start to prevent people from cheesing it.

The train code is randomized each playthrough, that is why the code you put isn't working. I managed to guess the code and beat the game early. Dialogue and all.

I believe the way it functions is that when you enter the code at the start it will switch to another code and when u use that code it will switch it back there is the third part of the code and when u get it it prevents the code from switching

That's not what happened, you can actually guess the code and leave early. Once you got 2/3 pieces of the code, you just guess what the numbers go and then you got free access. That's what happened to me.
