I think there were a fair amount of people that didn't necessarily understand the Jiara vision or see their potential in the first two seasons but changed their minds after this season because their dynamic is explored more deeply. . Or at least, they come out of this season understanding WHY Jiara makes sense even if they don't ship it per se, so hopefully the same goes for you. :) For me, it's not that I saw sparks flying in the first season. I just really loved their friendship and I saw more compatibility between the two of them than I ever did with Kiara and Pope. It was season two that convinced me to start shipping them because there WAS some set-up happening in the writing,however subtle it was. Same goes for Pope and Cleo in the season two finale.

your opening statement is exactly why people didn't love this season i think, i didn't watch season 1 or even really 2 but as someone who started for cleo, i enjoyed it
