Silicon Valley is kinda the wrong name for that area because the Silicon Valley in San Francisco does not do fraudulent businesses. It is the global center of technical innovations and home to many of the world’s largest high tech corporations. I would understand if you refer to it as such because of its Electronic and tech services but not as fraudulent.

You may be right, but for some reasons the place was nicknamed Silicon valley for a long time now. We are yet to find out why
