I thank Allah every day that He invited me to Islam. I reverted back in 1995 when I was 21, but I wanted to learn more before doing dawah with my parents. Subhanallah, they both died before I did it. They died suddenly, just six weeks apart, aged 47 and 51. I wish I’d talked to them more about our deen. They were good, kind people who supported my decision to accept Islam and I leave them in Allah’s Mercy. Brothers and sisters, if there is someone you love who isn’t Muslim, don’t delay. Talk to them about Islam today. Don’t be like me and leave it until it’s too late. I pray that all the good people find their way to Islam and to the love and mercy of Allah SWT. Ameen.

This verse applies for only those who came before islam. I can argue this to be the case because in the quran it similarly states that anyone who seeks a religion other than islam, never will it be accepted of him and he will be among the losers in the hereafter.

Thank you for sharing that verse. Some other accepted translations from scholars translate the word "Allah" as "God" because in the context of the times and location the word "Allah" meant "God" which helps make the rest of the verse have sense, that even our brothers of other Abrahamic faiths, believers in God who do good will have their reward and don't need to fear.

Here are some ways to earn deeds after death: 1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain. 2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain. 3) Participate in building a masjid. 4) Place a watercooler in a public space. 5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in it's shade or eats from it. 6) And the easiest of all, share this message with people.

Islam started off as Judaism, then Christianity, then due to the polytheistic mature of the religions, Allah introduced Islam. So, yes, Christians can go to Jannah if they are good Christians, and what is good Christianity? It's actually Islam. What is being a good Jew? It's actually Islam. Because these religions started with the same message as Islam: worship Allah alone. But the majority of them transgressed by associating partners with Allah. And mind you, the text reads different if you pay close attention to the “they shall have their reward” part. Lastly, read verses 63 and 64 of Baqara.
