I did almost 5 years in the biggest womans prison in the world. Pedos do NOT last long. I remember there was a girl a couple of doors down from me, we found out she was a pedo. She was raped with a broom stick and it took over 130 stiches to put her back together down there.

I have a brother in law who was a convict, he's clean now, married, a good fellow. And when we would bring up the topic of going to jail, he'd tell us stories about what prisoners do to those who commit such awful crimes, such as sexual abuse, or other things related to that. He told us the prisoners would mess anyone up if they did any horrible crimes like that, and would beat up anyone if they mistreated the elderly.

What sucks is that I recently encountered a situation like thus. My aunt was living with her parents, and she had a boyfriend named Gerald. After a couple of years, Gerald suddenly started forcing marriage on her, she agreed, and was oblivious to his "dark side". Around 2 and a half years ago, police suddenly appeared at their doorstep, saying that Gerald and some of his friends had been caught trading imagery of of sexual content sporting underage children. Gerald was immediately arrested. The scariest part is, before he was arrested, Gerald had had two children with my aunt, both girls. And my aunt claims that they, one about a year old the other still an infant had begun to sleep better and more comfortably with Gerald gone.

My dad (John) was sent to jail for the sexual abuse, sexual assault and rape of me which lasted for 7 years, when he went to prison for his 30 year sentence his inmate strangled him for 5 minutes, he isn't dead but he has damage to his nerves and brain because it messes up his spinal cord. I am thankful for the inmate, I know it sounds dark but John got what he deserved. Edit: The sexual abuse and assault started when I was 6 years old the rape started when I was 10 because my parents were going through divorce, I didn't tell my mom about the abuse and assault so he roomed with me and I had bunk beds, when I was 13 I finally told my mom because my dad would rape me at least 8 times a year and he got sentenced. He also groomed me since I was 4, I am now 17 happy that I will soon be 18 and I can go to uni soon away from John. The reason why John did this to me is because I look like my mom when she was younger and he knew my mom since he was 3.

I had enough run ins with the “opportunistic” ones that I knew to get out and tell my mom asap when my friends dad started rubbing on me. Never told them why I stopped going over there tho. Didn’t grow up in the best areas. Probably why I’m feel so strongly about abortion rights. Definitely was left with trama. Only guy I’m really comfortable with is my brother and dad, and even then I get dark thoughts that creep in. Probably never going to date or marry because of it too. I strongly believe in life or death sentences for assault and such, especially if the victims aren’t allowed to have choices now. The fact people can do such vile things and go back into the world like nothing happened is disgusting to me.

Not gonna lie, it makes me overwhelmingly happy that other inmates care. Like, I get teared up when I hear about these stories. Maybe it’s wrong to be happy about it, but it just does. I can’t help but love that even when they are morally corrupt (typically), they also care. Just shows that there is goodness in most people, even if they’ve done bad things. (This technically applies to pedos, but most of them are irredeemable monsters that recommit their crimes against the innocent and defenseless when released). Most criminals can present reasons for their actions, but pedos literally can’t give any justification for it. Like, how would you ever justify raping a 3 year old? You can’t.
