In today's video Grace is taking two things that can't talk, and teaching them to talk to each other. Is it possible to teach a dog to work with a robot? We will try to find out by first learning how to code a robot to follow a line, then teach a dog to press the button that controls that robot. By working together, they'll be able to get to places they couldn't have gone otherwise.

How about using a phone app (like maybe something written in Processing perhaps?) to look for the dog's eyes with the camera, then use the distance between the eyes to calculate whether the dog is close enough or not, and when she's close enough, start going forward, and use the horizontal position to control steering?

I'm curious, was the issue caused by time of day changes? It seems like it stopped right as it hit the sun at 6:18 and again at 6:39, I believe the stopping was just delayed, as evidenced at 6:49 where the wheels are still spinning even though it's off the track.
