as a platinum kat player its really cool to see you even go so far as to tell us to hold our q for when they chose pathing, its a crucial mistake that i see a lot of people do, throwing q right away will almost always result in missed out damage!

the low elo analysis is really good. lets us see a more realistic picture of the strategies. in high elo there are a lot of things you can count on, that you simply cannot in low elo. (ie junglers taking advantage of optimized paths, so you more or less know their timings, and thus know when to place a ward)
@VaVn575 жыл бұрын
This is much more useful for me :)) Explaining minion management, general positioning, when to roam (and when not) basic game strategy (what to do when you have to choose between say, dragon or going for a tower, etc) may seem obvious to some, but to a lot of us it's pure gold. Thanks!
@Rhinodino1375 жыл бұрын
One thing I see a lot in bot lane (as a support main in platinum 4) Is my ADC never realizes the importance of level 2 powerspikes. And will always choose to farm then position aggressively. So glad you covered that here!!! (Even if it is mid)

@thecoffeecurator5 жыл бұрын
this seriously needs more upvotes, this is what defines how you play a lane out
@LebonMatha5 жыл бұрын
You can't make gameplans alone, it's a team effort. If you're silver 4-3 or less, you can forget that. In a plat/gold game, I had perfect lane position as aatrox, I burned the enemy Kennen flash, placed a pink in river, ping my J4 on his gromp like 5times to come and R that piece of shit. The J4 braincrashed like 1 entire minute on the pink and did my plan after I yell at him in chat.

I really liked this! it is so much more relatable, to see the mistakes I could be making, over the plays I should be making. knowing the ideal is one thing, which is important, but not knowing how to spot the mistakes is why I am stuck in my elo. it is why I struggle to consistently make the good plays I know exist.

Yes but what about the tricky scenario where you secure a kill in lane but lack the pushing power to bounce the wave? Option A: You back and the wave slow pushes toward the enemy setting you behind in Level (rather giving the enemy level advantage) Option B: You shove to tower but the enemy returns to lane to soak exp even under tower and now you MUST back due to using mana to shove, enemy has plenty of time to shove and you lose an entire minion wave + level advantage. Option C: You stay with the slow push and end up remaining in lane with limited resources (40-60% hp?) and are sitting on gold unspent (you put yourself in the most disadvantageous position and highest risk of getting tower dove/ganked, but maintain level lead; this also forfeits priority until you can back and reset) Frankly I think you would have to choose option C and hope your jungle is skill enough to repeat gank your lane and relieve pressure or depending on the time and the enemy jungle, try to get honeyfruit from river (high risk but best option for reward and Low-Elo)
@valriim73155 жыл бұрын
Option D : you ping your jungler who will be very happy to 1) help you push lane if he's close enough 2) taking the farm after you pushed as you could, eventually trying to pull the wave, etc. In that kind of situation, the kill if more important than what you'll give up to your opponent in lane management in your 3 first options. But the way to lose the least il probably D option. Yes sometimes, it's just not available (Jungler dead or at spawn) then i think, depending on the match up i'll pref option A or B since option C is a free way to get ganked and just lose what you get from your kill (and most if the lane, as it should, bounce back to you being dead)
@Agachack5 жыл бұрын
I just loved it. This is perfect to pinpoint what you do better. Showing mistakes is always better than showing a perfect gameplay to improve, cause it's easier to understand why these choices are so important. :)

I’ve always been skeptical whenever I see one of these ads on my feed but that first example has actually just shown me so much. And it’s all mistakes that I’ve made without realizing. I think minion wave control like that is something that actually you wont ever learn until somebody literally sits down and explains to you exactly how what you do or don’t do affects the wave and trade windows. Also I don’t think it’s even something you can learn from watching pros stream as they often don’t have the time to explain every little thing in depth like that but it all makes sense now
@ABuriedSynth5 жыл бұрын
Go watch the streamer SRO ( SoloRenecktonOnly ) He always explains in every video what he does and why he does it
@broefkip5 жыл бұрын
Something you didn't mention (could be because it's regarded as common knowledge or explained somewhere earlier) but if the katarina (especially in melee vs melee) doesn't clear that wave under tower and creates a slowpush, you don't only win the next trade because of lvl advantage but also on minion advantage who at this early level damage a lot.

I think Syndra was so focused on slowpushing the wave that she didn't realize that she had to quickly switch from slowpushing to hard shoving so she could get her desired recall timing. Remember bois, always adapt. I recently had very chaotic ranked games (which I won), and they were really hard to win because I didn't adapt well enough.

most of their videos are targetted at pre level 6. but support is a role that impacts and lasts the whole duration of the game than just few skirmishes that happens in the bot lane pre 6. most bot lane videos that they have is good enough as bottom lane in whole, as the ad carry mission becomes support mission, in the sense that the support supports ad missions, in most of the cases. With support, you need more macro oriented knowledge and mu based experiences to determine how you should play certain mus, but covering this topic is at the very least a half hour video, hence it doesnt really fit the format of the skill-capped's videos, where the only thing they try to emphasize is small movements and mission knowledge that leads to early game victory.
