At some point during the main story, you have to choose whether to let Luigi or Peach get kidnapped to find out the location of the enemy base (Lottacoins Island). Let's compare these two routes and see what happens.

While seperate level ups aren’t that big of a problem, it doesn’t feel right for bros to not level up together. In which case, I’d use accessories that can boost individual experience gains. This is also helpful on the off chance one bro is KO.d when gaining exp.

As fun as this was, I feel like the plan didn't really amount to anything. Like the mole you send doesn't actually get any new info lol. I chose Luigi btw, because it felt like the more Mario & Luigi narrative.

I picked Luigi and I deeply regret it. Not because it briefly made the game harder, but because it massively desynced the bros levels. Not finished it yet at time of writing, so no spoilers if there's a Luigi only segment coming up, but I really hate how much they desynced, especially given I was actively trying to avoid fights as Mario during that time
