Solid breakdown. Kerr has to keep getting Steph involved early and often with the first unit. I’m also glad to see the Dubs try to get Trayce attacking the rim early. He was off this game but has been really good the last few weeks at finishing around the rim early.

Appreciate it man! And agree, I've been saying to get him at least 4/5 shots in first quarter. Run on-ball actions and that will open lanes for his teammates. TJD has been awesome last couple weeks

Steph and the team have top start shifting their offensive focus. Nights like against the 76s should be viewed as the exception and not the rule. You can't rely on hot shooting from 3 when all the better teams in the league do a much better job of taking away the 3 ball than this Philly team. Steph in particular needs to be more open to distributing than shooting first, which he did very well in this game. Of course he still needs to take the shots the defence easily gives up, But the more the breaking of the defence leads to easy paint shots for JK and Wiggins and others the easier the offense overall will be.

Right, but him being aggressive and shooting will naturally open up looks for others. As opposed to him not looking for his own shot and only looking to pass. If that makes sense

@@warriorsbreakdown Of course it's a balancing act. My point is the days of Steph being the unquestioned no1 option have to end if the team wants any shot at playing meaningful basketball again. Kerr praising JK a few games ago for first and foremost passing to Steph is just tone def to the state of the team and the league more broadly.

The Warriors have been getting open looks all season, its just that they've hit a serious shooting slump in December. Once the drought ends, they'll be back in the game. Hopefully, this is just a sign of things turning around.
