In reality police are not that much one sided. They take a police complaint in writing and start investigation questioning from both sides going into the minuest details. First of all they see the situation, environment and spot evidences to have occurred the crime. Perhaps some women undermine the efficacy of the police.

I thought the law goes by "innocent until proven guilty". No matter what kind of allegation you make against anyone, should be done so with appropriate evidence. Just because someone is a female doesn't automatically mean they are truthful, especially when it comes to harassment. I'm not sure about what law says.
