In season 2 it kicks off. Alfa Romeo shoots up to performance index 900+ and Weber is winning the championship! I dropped to 6th fastest team. Everyone is improving rapidly.

The fact that you come last (or a lot lower than your teammate) in simulations is based on fact that you haven't done practice programs (yes, practice programs!). I don't have this years game, but I experimented with this last year and this is how it was.. when I did all practice programs, race simulation went a lot better (usually finishing in front of my teammate), but when I didn't do any practice programs, my teammate always dominated me... I think nothing has changed from game to game, but if you want, you can experiment with this on this years game...
