It always did for me too! As far as I can tell, I'm the only person online with the BoS part and the Khans part, because of how convoluted this run had to be. I played halfway through the Legion route to do the White Gloves part, but never reported it to Caesar because it's the cutoff point for NCR. I did the entire NCR route here up until the end, then sided with Yes Man. In retrospect I should've sided with the Omertas, since that also has funny dialogue. This video has every funny dialogue with Yes Man except that, and the route was really time consuming. You have to do both routes allying everyone to the respective factions. Do not recommend, since the BoS doesn't show up and the Khans really weren't useful. Followers didn't really show up either, and the Remnants did nothing.

I did a Yes Man run and was quite pleased with how it went... until he told me that he was going to install upgrades to make himself more assertive. That was the only time in all my run-throughs that I thought, "Oh God, what did I do?" I was convinced that I had just royally screwed up, and I was going to find out that Yes Man offed me in the end scenes, leading to the worst possible outcome. Thankfully, I was wrong, and the devs officially shot down that theory and stated that Yes Man was still loyal to the Courier.

I am not 100% sure of this, but I think there is the possibility to destroy or sabotage the turbines at Hoover Dam during the battle. New Vegas is power secured by the upgrade to the El Dorado Substation just before the Battle. But if you destroyed the Securitron army, drove out NCR and Legion, AND ruined the Dam, then it would be bleak.

You're forced to destroy the Hoover Dam if you destroy the army, so that's what I did. I just cut it out because it wasn't particularly interesting. This was like 3 hours of footage in total, and I had to be really tight on the editing to keep it interesting.

You can also destroy the turbines in the NCR ending too, in the shack half way across the dam you can wire a detonator to a terminal and set them to explode. It's never mentioned, like at all, but I love to imagine the NCR rolling back in to see the dam completely out of commission.

I realized that about the Omertas post production. To be honest, in my 771 hours in the game I've never helped the Omertas, but I know it's a possibility. I just really hate doing that quest and always just convince Troike to do it all for me with Speech. How do you do it? You're right about the Boomers unfortunately, and the same applies to the Followers, but the route Yes Man takes doesn't let you see it. I believe the same thing happened with BoS, they might have spawned and I just never encountered them.

@@UltimateGamerCC The Legion's cutoff point for the NCR is really early into their questline. Once you report the White Gloves to Caesar, you can no longer side with the NCR. If you never tell Caesar about it however, you can still side with the NCR. There's a way to start How Little We Know prior to any faction's questline, and in retrospect I probably should have done that. I've never seen anyone do How Little We Know before ever actually working for a faction, so I might make a video on it someday. I never realized it at the time because it's such a strange and specific thing you would never think to do.

You have to do the NCR's main story quest all the way up to the point you're asked to destroy the Brotherhood, work for the Brotherhood until you join them, then ask them to ally with the NCR and due to your past work for them they agree to do it. If you betray the NCR for Yes Man at the last possible second after doing this you can get this extremely rare dialogue.

You have to keep Elder McNamara in place with the Brotherhood and not replace him with Hardin. When NCR gives you the mission to deal with the Brotherhood, go see McNamara.

Honestly, they probably did. They just never showed up in the path of the Yes Man route. Actually getting the Brotherhood was the hardest part of this run, and what inspired me to make the video in the first place. I couldn't find any documented evidence online of the fact Yes Man responds to allying the Brotherhood and Khans to NCR, since it requires you to abort an NCR run past the point of no return for all other factions, at which point 99% of players would never think to betray them. You have to go all the way on an NCR run, then last second go back and do an entire Yes Man run just to hear that, so I was shocked to see they didn't show up. Took about 11 hours in total.

For the NCR questline, you can't do that. That being said, I hypothetically could've done this before the main quest? Not really sure, I haven't tried it yet.

I’m pretty sure this was the ending I had thought I can’t remember the option of allying the families with either side but I did have everyone turn on the legion: khans, boomers, remnants, bos and yes man which I always found made for a great battle at the dam chaotic and fun
