I’ve not had one other game I play on my PS5 crash and glitch out as I have MW3 yeah I may have a random crash from Rocket League every now and then or Fortnite but this call of duty BS crashes every other day sometimes up to 5 times in one single gaming session and recently it crashed literally back to back on 2 different occasions I mean crashed right after it just crashed literally I restart my console load back up and within a few seconds bam crashes again, for pre ordering and spending $100.00 on something they really know how to professionally **** on there customers then you’ve got cheat developers out here that no matter how many ban waves you here Hactavision claim they cracked down on and banned still cheaters on cheaters In game I guess these cheat developers pay Hactavision off so much money and the ones that fall lower on the pay cut then others who payed more higher end up getting caught and exposed and simply the true reason why it never gets cleaned completely up is the ones that payed higher up there in money also get the advantage of continuing to wreck the game and there you go welcome to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 the simulation cycle of absolute BS. In simpler terms it’s all about the money baby f everything and everyone else as long as we get the money and that’s what they have accomplished hats off to them I fell for there tactic once again.

For anyone wondering, I'll tell you what happens. As soon as you do anything other than the base map, you lose contamination. So, essentially, dont worry about it, unless you dont want any good gear, or are happy just hanging for a few then exfiling. Story portals, and dark aether portals are counted as eliminations in game. So you can spend the whole match in orange or red zone banging out contract after contract, and come out at 14 contamination level after doing 15 contracts. Its real neat, since "technically" you died out twice, once when leaving base map, and another when extracting from wherever you went to. Classic cod.

@@JeffMinnichbach the portals to the purple crystal DMZ areas. You go through the arch ways/portals, there’s two missions that initially take you to the Dark Aether and from there you can collect a series of items to unlock a harder version of it where you can collect schematics and good loot. Look for the purple tornados on the map.

I can confirm that going to the Dark Aether or a story mission will lose you a tier if you go to any one of them. Edit: It's a gamble, it would get rid of a tier or keeps your current tiers. The choice is yours whatever you do for whatever reason you go to those areas.

The containment level system has the potential to really improve the game by increasing the cap level and adding more rewards like greatly reducing the cool down for crafting schematics, improving field upgrades, increasing tactical and lethal equipment count and so on.

I had something similar, a player parked a LTV right in front of the garage my cargo LTV was in blocking me from leaving then left it there when it caught on fire, had I not had PHD I would have died when I jumped in to move it out of the way.

for those who dont know because of course people wont know it the containment level bug for the dark aether (or story missions for that matter) is a well known bug within sledgehammer's devlopment team, as shown by their trello board. hopefully its fixed today (3/13/2024 as of writing this). but if not, you can see the other bugs tracked via their trello board that ANYONE can see since lego here doesent allow links i cannot post it. i'll update this comment if it gets fixed today.

So fun fact about loosing your cont streak when going into the dark aether. This bug has been in the game since the beginning. If you go into your players stats the game doesn’t count leaving the dark aether as an exvile. I think the helicopter has something to do with how the game tracks successful exviles. And only reason I know this is true is because in my player stats all my “failed” exviles are all my dark aether games. It’s when you go through the portal the game “kills” your character.

I'm curious if you have an operator at like 150 and you die, does it still take you back down to tier 9 or only take away like 10 points?? But the containment level has made things much much easier now to get into the higher tiers much faster.

If you have 100+ points and get squad wiped you go back down to 75. Doesn't matter how many past 100 you have.

FYI guys, last night I was doing an early exfil b/c I got done what I needed to and my game kinda froze in the exfill helicopter. I say kinda b/c although I wasn't moving nor was the chopper, the timer was still going (20+minutes) and the storm was moving. I stuck it out and stayed to see what happened at the end. The storm came, took my gas mask and my plates, then the timer hit 0 and it went back to zombies main screen, BUT I didn't lose anything, so it counted as a successful exfil. Just FYI if you get stuck there, just afk and let it play out. I think I'm at the highest containtment since I've only completed act 1. Coming in with 5K and PaP discount is huge. I'm halfway through serpentinite, so it's helping.

I was around a 100 or so and something happened and i went back to zero. I have been glitched out of the helicopter and killed without being able to be revived. I have gotten errors and kicked from game. Most recent i was just checking the grarage for circuit boards and then i just got closed in the truck area and couldn't get out. It was like a cargo thing started and stuck me inside. So i downed myself and got someone to start the cargo contract and they was nice enough to save me. Spent too much money on this game for this stuff top keep happening.

Activision should: 1. Increase the large bag to 2X the size 2. Not make it PvPvE 3. Add a 2 slot Self Revive slots to large bag and 2 kill streak slots 4. Increase the stash size 5. Add a slot for armor plates so you can carry 10 instead of 5 or sacrificing storage in the bag 6. Add a chalace to store essence like in dmz with wallet

How are you farming for Borealis? Sometimes when you fail an exfil you lose a level. While sometimes you just lose it for going to DA or story missions.

well, let's see.. I was at containment 123, deployed and when the timer hit 0, I had exactly that 0 containment.... randomly wipes out your cotainment levels now... what a great fix...I didn't take any crystal with me becuase I thought I had 5K to start with... so now you can't even count on the containment level you have... it's just awful...
