It's the game having difficulties reading and executing the penalty you have. It assumes you are taking your DT, but then later corrects it into a pitstop because you arent allowed to do the DT under safety car. Have had this happen multiple times before

As from my experience, If your Front Wing is damaged the pit crew will rather pit you and change it than letting you serve the DT as well. Generally, DT penalties are a bit weird this year

I remember some of the older F1 games where if you didn't tell Jeff, the crew would run out the moment you crossed the entry line, but they'd run in a randomised scramble, and would sometimes still be fumbling around during the stop too

Why would you not still need to serve the drive-through? He had two penalties: 5-second and DT, serves the 5 second in the stop, and still needs to serve the DT, as a pit stop is not the same as serving a DT
