What Happens When You Save ALL R&D Points For Regulation Changes In F1 22 My Team

In this video, I decided to see what happens if you simulate seasons in f1 22 my team career mode until there is a regulation change. This is basically the same strategy Haas did in 2021 to prepare for F1 2022. After doing lots of upgrades and spending all of my resource points in F1 22, I then did the Miami Grand Prix and the Monaco Grand Prix to see how competitive the car is.

The parallels to F1 22 S1 for TiametMarduk here are shocking 😂the hoarding of R&D points and huge gap to competitors, Piastri being a snob and leaving, the only difference is that at least one of your upgrades didn't fail at the first attempt!

FYI: with development boosts from practice, it reduces the cost of adapting parts as well. I'm currently near the end of Season 2 in a "free upgrade only" trial, meaning I only upgrade stuff at 0 cost. My car is horribad - but I've saved 53k R&D points by COTA in S2. I think for S3 I'm going to just rush R&D on everything no matter what it costs and see if I can make up the performance gap in one season.

Reduce the front and rear wing aero to significantly increase speed. I'd say keep the front at 5 and rear at 5 as well.

How do you simulate the races itself? The game puts me directly in th garage when it comes to qualifying and racing... i can do practice in simulations, but not the races

As soon as you get to the race weekend, hover over the race and then click square (or the equivalent on your platform) to sim it
