Here’s an extremely easy way to do this if you want territory all over the map fast So you have to have a new save or just one where you don’t have a pack and are looking for a mate. Then choose which pack you will want to take over later and kill both of the leaders (and sometimes the other members if it doesn’t die off) of every other pack on the map. NOT THE PACK YOU CHOSE. Eventually the other packs will die off and the pack you want to take over will expand pretty fast if you just sleep. Just continue to keep killing off any packs that make their way onto the map and soon enough the pack you chose will have taken over (or close) the entire map. Then just do the normal killing the leader with the same gender as you, wait a few days, go back in, and become mates with the single leader!! Also try not to mess with the pack you chose as they might be a bit more aggressive towards you. This does require a lot of sleeping and you should consider the time left to find a mate timer but I usually finish with a quarter left. Anyways hope this helped!!!!

The mate timer really only matters if you want pups I believe, since you can still get a mate at any point of the year and it looks like the timer ends in mid - late ish winter but also maybe the maps with the smallest “no man’s land” are better because less hexes to claim once your pack of choice has taken everything else?

Here's a challenge you can try to do, I call it the mixed challenge, pretty much just take as many random challenges as you can and try to raise pups while doing all of them. I think it'd be pretty fun and probably hard too

I have a big territory like that on slough creek and amethyst mountain. I don't know if it changes anything, but nothing seems to attack my pups and my wolves seem less eager to disperse. But it might be them being social

@Wolfetta_001 currently my wolves with big territories are 3 and 5, so I'll have to play some more to see. Overall I do think it limits the number of dispersals, so you might be able to get a bigger pack without your pups dispersing (since they just won't find a partner 💀)

I heard that howling in rival pack’s territory makes it faster for them to find you, so whenever I do go about expanding my territory I always mark instead of howl until I’ve got it as a good 50% or more.

You can try and take over all the packs. It work better on easy mode but if you kill the pack leaders when they have small territory like in the vid the pack will die out. Some will disperse when the rest of the pack is dead but most just die.

@Wolfetta_001 np! I accidentally did this trying to become pack leader. I turned it to easy so I wouldn't die killing the female leader, turns out they can't survive on easy with just a male pack leader lol

What if you did it on multiplayer? Then wolves could split up, and with 8 wolves that would be two wolves for each corner, or one center, four corners, and three where help is needed.
