Exactly! I adore Bunny but she definitely has some OCD tendencies when it comes to "bacteria" and "germs", which is totally okay as long as she understands and doesn't let it negatively impact her life. She has shown these tendencies for a long time, not swatching things because she is afraid of had bacteria, overly using sanitizer, refusing to put her hand into a bag of candy or chips (she uses a fork). I specifically remember one Valentine's day video where she wouldn't eat something because dogman had gotten something out by putting his hand in the bag & not pouring it into his hand. These are all very apparent signs of OCD

@@Zenithxblack Yeah, you should sanitize once a month (although look at your machine's manual to make sure; could be more or less). Two points that i am not sure anyone has pointed out yet, so I am going to put them here. 1) The washers were different and I think it works better because a top loader fills with water and stays. As opposed to your front loader that works way differently and doesn't really soak them and keep them in the water and cleaner. 2) With the beauty Blenders, put in half the amount since they swell considerably when saturated. That way, they have more room in the bag. I would, with the amount of beauty sponges you cleaned, even do a third of the amount. I think these factors may have contributed to the mixed results!!! Loved the video!!

If you’re happy cleaning it one a year then that’s fine. But it’s not too much to clean it as often as Bunny does, I also clean my machine once a week or once a fortnight. It just makes me feel better.

Dementia _ it’s a problem when people talk about it like it’s rational or factual when it’s not because people are so easily influenced with the germ thing anyway but especially by influencers. It’s dangerous misinformation.

I love that laundry sanitizer, I use it all the time. Its recommended to wash bedding/sheets/pillow cases once a week. I personally wash my mattress protector once a month. I wash my washing machine every 2-3 months or so with the same washing machine cleaner, but I think the box cleaner recommends once a month. I have issues with my immune system though and it’s good to sanitize what I wore at my doctors offices.

apparently you can ‘clean’ the inside of your washing machine by putting a dishwashing tablet in the detergent draw/compartment and running a hot water cycle, it will remove any mould or sludge
@jolenefraser95344 жыл бұрын
With Front loaders you want to run a cleaner setting to clear out residue also keep the door open when not in use so it can dry out so you don't grow things. Also keeps them from smelling weird. I have to be on it about that since I wash a lot of things in cold water.

I'm so glad Bunny made this video! Ever since I saw the TikTok video, I was curious about whether or not it would work or if it was just a scheme to go viral. I didn't feel quite brave enough to try it myself, but now I'm sure that I won't be doing it after seeing the damage that was done to quite a few of the brushes she tested. After more time passes, I'm definitely curious to see if there are any more brushes that come apart like the one she showed. I do have an excellent tip for cleaning and sanitizing brushes and sponges, though. I was so tired of buying and trying tons of different brush cleaners that out of pure frustration I decided to try something a bit different. I use the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo and one day I just decided to see what it could do for my makeup brushes/sponges. Wow, was I surprised! It works like a charm! It gets brushes and sponges alike as clean as the day that I bought them and it's gentle enough that it doesn't do any damage to them at all!! And there's the added bonus (in my opinion) of the tea tree oil helping to disinfect the brushes and sponges as it cleans them. It might seem a bit much to use a somewhat more expensive shampoo to clean your brushes, but in the long run, when you consider the prices of most brush cleaners it's really not. And you don't need much to clean each brush. I just thought I'd throw it out here for anyone who might be interested in trying it out.
