Fr. People love complaining about Samoans running the wrestling industry, but the ONLY Samoans who really got a push were Rock , Yokozuna and Roman Reigns over the past 40 years. 👍 1. When Rock debuted as a SAMOAN good guy who got threats and was booed out the building. Then he leaned into his black side joined the nation of Domination and became more over than ever before. 2. Yokozuna was NEVER represented as Samoan on screen. He was presented as a Japanese sumo wrestler. 3. When Reigns tried to represent his Samoan heritage in fcw as "Leakee". It didn't work. It was only until he got rid of the beads , the skirt and the name Leakee that he finally got over as a badass.

Roman didn't stand out either. Roman was the hardwork of Vince McMahon ruthlessly pushing Roman over everybody else. Vince even got The Rock to raise Roman's hand after he won the Rumble just so that Roman with the help of Rocky could get over, Roman needed a WrestleMania win against the Undertaker to help get over. Roman was the lab test, got handed everything to him yet still took 10 years to finally shine. These new bloodline members arrived this year but quickly found their groove.

Roman did stand out. He was the clear standout in the Shield even before he was pushed to be the star. He has the "it" factor. It'd just that Vince was an idiot and pushed him in the absolute wrong way. If Roman wasn't a star then he wouldn't have rose to the top like he did because anyone else with Vince's horrible booking would have been forgotten by now and working for AEW.

Tama is Solo's right hand (the number 2) and Loa is being pushed as a badass. What more could someone who most of the American audience doesn't know want?? Both Tonga bros are stars but they need to get that exposure on US tv in this way before they go off on their own. How many times has WWE tried to push stars who wrestled in Japan almost exclusively and ended up falling flat because of that?? Tama and Loa look like badasses now and are in a legit looking group.
