I disagree that the players just think they will turn up and win. After 3 games in a week they looked tired. Instead of tearing them down over 2 weeks, let's support them. The next game is the one that matters and it's going to be a tough one. We need positivity. COYS.

Regards to timo, he said “whatever they decide I’m okay with”. That doesn’t sound like a lot of enthusiasm for keeping him in the squad. With okeefe’s comments too about how we could have gone in for eze or Neto and didn’t and have to balance the wage bill. Doesn’t that tell you everything you need to know? Also in regards to spending 300. Most of the players we had to replace were not at the level we need and/or at the end of their cycle with the club anyways. It’s called a rebuild for a reason. The players need to step it up. Ange wants to win every game and for sure doesn’t look down on a team like Ipswich vs playing city

If anyone thinks when Ange said he needed to sort out the front third back in May, that he was thinking Werner and Odobert, then you’re kidding yourself. But what Ange won’t do is hammer them in public with the “club signing” stuff, because he’s too good a bloke and will know the impact that would have on those players.

My opinion is Romero and a couple others don’t want to be there and have switched off.. but due to them being top players or the only fit ones in their position they have to play and just go through the motions.. we need another 2 windows with ange to get a squad that’ll play for him.. but it’s up to the fans to shut up and levy to hold off pulling the trigger before the end of the season! And I do agree ange may end up walking away if he’s not fully backed by supporters.

It’s a high risk system with a high line and open defence. Easy to concede against any team struggle against congestion of a tight defence. System needs a lot of things to be spot on to succeed so hard to be consistent. Players need to be really motivated. This group aren’t as motivated as Celtic group were but they struggled in Europe against better sides.

Isn’t part of spurs’ recent history/“culture” to put in a seriously sub-standard performance the game following a big win? I’m specifically thinking of Fulham after Villa last year, but I’m sure there are lots of other examples. If you go back and look at the fixtures for the past 2 seasons it’s pretty crazy how often this pattern exists.

Not going to be a consistent team at PL level with a bunch of teenagers and early 20s players in the squad. In time, they might become consistent, but there’s no short cut to experience. The issue is the disparity between individual good performances and poor performances - it’s immense difference for too many players. Essentially the squad is 6-9th in strength and depth and that’s where they’ll finish.

Vicario - 28 Porro - 25 Romero - 26 VDV - 23 Kulu - 24 Bentancur - 27 Sarr - 22 Johnson - 24 Solanke - 27 Son - 32 Then the next commonly used players are Maddison, Bissouma, Werner and Ben Davies. Just because you have a few actually young players on the bench like Gray and Bergvall, doesn't make it a young team. You blame inconsistency in the PL on it being "young" when I just showed you it isn't a young team that plays.

Udogie and Porro ..( gone in summer) would be better in a 3 5 2.. Bergvall is not ready ..Richarlison is rubbish . Whose squad does Richarlisin get into . People talk rubbish . Werner Bissouma Johnson Maddison Udogie . FSG believe in Sporting success to produce profit , . Completely different to Levy PLC . Our squad is thin and 40 mil for Gray who doesn’t play in his best position while we have Spence available.. We have been poor against good young coaches ..We will win anything and finish outside the Top 4. The emphasis will be on Champions League no matter wait . Ange cannot play against teams that undo his tactics he has no Plan B.
