#1 - My person has grown in and continues to live in an environment of limiting beliefs, so that my person's true self has been repressed in order to fit in, with the belief that this is the right thing to do. I am a free spirit and our close friendship has been a catalyst for this transformation in my person. Remarkably it is very specifically all about the mother figure. The history was riddled w/alcoholism, abandonment, emotional trauma/abuse, and possibly, other unresolved things which were never spoken of. Also a big yes that there were mirrorings when the relationship was actively in progress.
