Back years ago the family used to rub the tent down with lemon juice, then either warm soapy of rinse clean-used to keep the mould at bay and the fabric looking and smelling fine.

Good move Shad. Thats the smart way to go buying second hand first, before you sell any other well setup gear. Im a bit big to share that squeezy space. Maybe youll need to change the layout a bit for more room for the bed. I might end up doing something similar with vehicles in a couple of years. Videos getting better mate. Good to see more of your cook setup and some actual cooking. Great to have a lovely big fire at this time of year. I might have to look at getting myself a battery chainsaw rather then the KatanaBigBoy.

Look forward to the troopy episodes mate. They're a great vehicle for a couple or solo traveller I think. Every time I'm on the road with mates with troopys I do wonder a small amount if I made the right choice in the 76. Love to hear your comparison of how the longer wheel base drives compared to the 76, off road.

Yes it definitely will be interesting, Troopy is unlocked though but still be interesting. When we bought the 76 i was considering a troopy but i wanted the kids to have there own doors.

Congrats on the new rig mate. If I was to buy a Landcrusier I would be looking at a Troopy. It looks like a solid fit out for a longer trip although looking at the bed I would say best suited for 1 person. Ideal for your trips out with the boys though and as you said, just a quick trip with Tash. Being able to pull up, grab a chair and set the awning and know you are done is brilliant. Only downside is trying to keep bugs out of the back at night when cooking etc. Looking forward to seeing some trips in it mate.

Yeah definitely mate , all valid points, the bug one is what we were just talking about when we were out. See how it pans out as there is heaps of options for these things out there.

@shaddonaghue just a simple red light would probably do the trick. I have a bright white on my door but I tent to keep it closed unless I need it to be open. That normally works pretty well too. I'm sure you will love how easy it is to get out with such a simple set up

@@shaddonaghue my Patrol is my tourer, but when I want to get to those hard to get to campsites it's a gem in disguise. Tough as nails and sweet in the sand. Nothing is unbreakable but, so far it is such a weapon
