Because you enter the game a bit later than PMCs... i heard the most pvp is in the first 10 minutes when everyone spawns and is running towards the main areas, then they go to extraction. I tend to wait for everyone to be gone and start looting at the same times as you do with scav and it lowers the risk

At 8.6, my scav kit is still hit and miss. No armor, trash gun, smallest rig and sling. At 1.5 I had 4 keycard scav spawn in a row. I think it’s still mostly RNG.

Personally I'm all for keeping your scav loot route a secret except within your clan or friends. It's well meant, but it can have lasting impacts on gameplay, and besides, scav runs are easy and it's better for a player to develop their own styles and routes. I for one scav Reserve about 95% of the time, and while I've been struggling to keep scav karma in a constant rise, I have 12 mil. in stash with a LARGE stash value.

I dont have that much wealth, but I think these guides are bad for the game. Not because people will get rich, but because people are sheep. If someone tells you there is something really good to do they will do it. This leads to overpopulated spots and needless fights for those spots. The only tip new player needs is that interactive map of tarkov raids. Because learning about hidden staches by yourself would be like lol. Most people would never figure it out yet it provides so much items... And as new player they sould explore the map as much as possible to be familiar with it for their PMC :)

My favorite part about max rep with fence, is that the bosses ignore you! I've been headshotted so many times while running away from the bosses not even firing one shot or looking at them. When they ignore you, you can go loot all the dead pmc's that no one else can get close to and also the dead boss bodies. It's my favorite part about it and it was a huge cash farm.

I'm a little puzzled why you didn't actually describe what it's like having 6x Scav Karma. You never mentioned using bots to follow you or any of the in-game benefits or how the gameplay changes from a 1x karma player. You covered starting loot and the timers for case and scav'ing as the only benefits. You showed the wiki article briefly describing the levels, but I wanted to know more about that experience.

first of all Grats for the video, super nice. i'm currently sitting on 16.5 Fence rep so i've done a loooot of scav run xD that said i'll point this things out: -The scav case timer is a bug. it shouldn't be any difference from 6.0 to 12.0 -the Flir loadout is indipendent from your scav Karma. Weapon loadout are not related to the karma, i know people with -5 karma that still get a flir on the sv -100% that scav karma at 6.0 is beyond broken and it's the ultimate moneymaking machine. but i suggest u an even faster farm way that is factory run, in and out in 20 second. u make 200k minimum by selling everything to the trader + u get good loot in your back pack ( i farmed 50 LAB Card ( 10 milions) in just 2 days ( + all the money of the loadout)

The only thing I know about scav karma that I didn't hear so far in is that when you hit 25 I think they stated that boss scabs will no longer engage the player and actually assist your player scav if in a fight. Raider scavs will still engage as per normal

I wish I couldve gotten decent scav karma but everytime a player scav shoots at me I end up killing them and then a horde of other scavs start blasting to and in order to defend my cans of Tushonka and Squash, I go murdering my way to extract. By the time I get out, I've murder 8 scavs and lost a ridiculous amount of karma. Its either "let them kill you" or "murder everyone". There is no in between.

With the beginning of this wipe, my sole purpose of scav runs has become the man, the myth, the fat legend.. Ded Moroz, also known as Santa Claus. I am dedicated to murdering the man and keeping his presents as well as using his backpack as a trophy, therefore I took the opposite path to the one, shown in the video. My current fence reputation stands at around -13.21. My scav run, as of now, loads for nearly 2 hours and I suffer in scav runs. Scavs are raiders to me this wipe.. And I am something of a raider myself. Well worth it though.

Came back to this video as I'm trying to grind scav karma again for the new .13 wipe, but the hideout management skill also gives percentage bonuses to all zones--including Intelligence Center--meaning that with a higher level of that skill you could even further decrease scav timer, up to 50% more of the 30% bonus given by Intel 3 (might not be those exact numbers but the point is, your scav timer can be even lower to the point where there's virtually no down-time.)

Hey! I know I'm a bit late, but here's something to add to your "Useless information and Easter Eggs" info if you haven't covered it already. BSG hid game codes for EOD on certain weapon attachments when they released the P90, I believe you can go to the 3-D view of certain P90 parts and other items that were released in the same update and they have hidden text on them that you wouldn't see otherwise :)

Great video. I have some questions about SCAV rep loss. I find that I'm getting into fights with other bad scavs. But I'm never sure if I can shoot back. I know that if they shoot at me and hit me, I can shoot back with no consequence. But what if they miss? can I shoot back then? What about the other scavs running with them? Can I shoot those players too, or do I have to play sitting duck until one hits me. I'm hoping that there will be some kind of reset for the car extracts to help out over time...but not sure that's something BSG wants. Also, regarding killing PMCs. How do you tell it's a PMC and not a kitted SCAV? that's another issue i have. Not wanting to lose karma, i generally just let them go unless i see an arm band. thanks...and don't tell anyone about the loot route. let's just keep that quiet okay?

Well I got an answer to one of my questions today. It looks like it doesn't matter if the other scav is trying to kill you. As long as he hasn't hit you, you will lose karma for killing him (unless of course he's already killed another scav). I ran into a scav and he immediately started shooting at me. He missed 3 shots. I didn't miss. Loss of .09 is a huge penalty for protecting your life. There should be a system that lets me return fire...but it's not there yet. So for now, I guess i just have to die.

It's cool to learn about your stash runs for shoreline. it's seems the stashes on woods have been nerfed into the ground so we have been running interchange. might need to switch it up seeing all that armor you got.

bro if you want to get 100k+ a raid, just get a shit ton of gun parts you find while looting. some of them sell for 9-10k a piece, especially handguards/rails. I forgot to mention suppressors sell for 20k sometimes depending on what you find.

Once you get level 6 you unlock new stuff to buy from fence. Most of it is overpriced trash but I found some things like ammo are extremely well priced. For example 366 ap for 100 roubles per round. Also you don't need a survive you can get a run through too. What I would do is just go factory and extract right away and maybe grab some things along the way. Very op way to make money once you get maxed Intel center.
