Because the demons believed God and even tremble. But the only most powerful on earth that God can not control is the MIND of man. and no one is excused and exempted even Pope, Priest, Pastor, Bishop, faithful believer and even Prophets. The existence and appearing of evil and demon is so closed within the mind and heart of man. that's why most of the time quenching of the Spirit happened in the believer and they called themselves born again (1 Thessalonians 5:19) but i believed there will be quenching of spirit if a man truly born again he must be born again and old things passed away and all things become new, quenching of Spirit is the result of entertaining the devil that's why there is still worries, trouble, misunderstanding, tiredness, etc etc. Therefore in my opinion hinder is the fruit of old nature and still not yet found the new one. or else you gonna live in double minded, lukewarn. Let man renew the life, and the keys is in us and not in God, Matthew 16:19. AMEN
