My neuro-spicy brain went bonkers during the pandemic and decided i needed to spend hundreds of dollars on supplies to start paper quilling. I don't have the attention span or dexterity to do paper quilling. There is a bin with instruction books, every tool imaginable, and thousands of thin strips of paper just rotting away in the corner. At least when I took up loom knitting I actually produced some useful items (slippers, beanies, scarves), but I haven't touched it in the past year. ADHD is a hobby store's best friend.

My goodwill has a pegboard wall of cables like that and I've seen those many times they are the same as what pc monitors use and they are usually $1.99 so you should check your goodwills, I also see them at garage sales all the time for a quarter.
